Elton John‘s catalog is robust enough. He certainly didn’t have to take on any side projects or feature slots. Nevertheless, John has made it a point to collaborate with his fellow artists. Moreover, there might be even more John features than his casual listeners realize.

Roger Daltrey was recently treated to a surprise message from none other than Paul McCartney at the star-studded “Ovation” concert. On Sunday, March 24, the Who frontman was honored at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

TOGETHER WITH BROKEN BOW RECORDS

The Frontmen’s debut self-titled album brings three icons of 90s country — Richie McDonald, formerly of Lonestar, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, & Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas — to the forefront. The twelve-track album, produced by two-time GRAMMY-nominated Mickey Jack Cones, features nine original songs and three Lonestar, Little Texas & Restless Heart No. 1s.

On this day (March 25) in 1963, Johnny Cash recorded “Ring of Fire.” The song went on to become one of Cash’s biggest hits. More than that, more than six decades later, it is still hailed as one of the greatest country songs of all time. However, Cash didn’t write the song nor was he the first to record it.

March 25, 2024, marks the second anniversary of the death of beloved Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Hawkins passed away while the band was on tour in Bogota, Colombia, of apparent cardiac arrest. He was just 50.
